FIELD: sorbents. SUBSTANCE: mercury vapor sorbents to protect respiratory organs and demercurize different release matters consists in impregnating activated carbon with aqueous solutions of chlorides and is distinguished by that solutions contain 12-22 wt % chlorides and are used at temperature 50 to 80 C and component volume ratio 1:(0.20-0.40) with subsequent heat treatment in "fluidized bed" furnace. EFFECT: increased dynamic activity of sorbent with regard to mercury vapors.
