FIELD: methods of production of adsorbents for adsorption of water steam, ammonium and organic agents (benzene, toluene, cyclohexane and the like); protection of breathing organs; filtering and adsorbing boxes of gas-and-smoke protective complex. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes impregnation of activated carbon by aqueous solution of calcium chloride, aging, heat treatment and scattering; total volume of pores in activated carbon shall be equal to 0.8- 1.2 cu cm/g; impregnation is performed in one stage and is continued for 20-60 min at temperature of 60-70 C till content of calcium chloride reaches 16-25 mass-% at ratio of volume of impregnating solution to volume of pores of activated carbon equal to 0.7-0.8; then, product is subjected to aging for 3-24 h and heat treatment at temperature of 170- 250 C.
