FIELD: inorganic chemistry, in particular, methods of electrolytic manganese dioxide. SUBSTANCE: method includes electrolysis of solution containing manganese sulfate and free sulfuric acid. In so doing, in the course of electrolysis, formed manganese dioxide is removed from electrolyte in time intervals equal to 0.05-0.10 of electrolysis duration with subsequent washing the precipitate.
