FIELD: building of underground structures, applicable as a protective arrangement at rarely used shaft entrances of underground structures, including structures with detrimental or dangerous productions, for example, underground atomic power stations. SUBSTANCE: the cover in the protective arrangement of the shaft-type underground structure is installed in the shaft at a definite depth relative to the earth surface and secured by anchor ties to the ring foundation or separate foundations located on the outer side of the shaft lining above the cover, and a burying of loose material, for instance, of sand in elastic bags is made inside the shaft from the level of the cover to the level of the earth surface. The burying may be made for bituminous grouting of burying loose material in the process of structure service. The burying may be made for chemical grouting of burying loose material in the process of structure service. EFFECT: enhanced degree of protection of the structure entrance at external dynamic and temperature actions, enhanced reliability of localization of detrimental or radioactive materials at their accidental emission above the preset limits inside the underground structure, reduced time and labour content for opening and closing of the protective arrangement. 4 cl, 1 dwg
