FIELD: cryogenic engineering; solid-state physics, nuclear physics, space engineering and refrigerating engineering. SUBSTANCE: heat exchange surface of refrigerator is formed by vertical heat- conducting plates; each plate is made in form of backing with heat-conducting filaments secured vertically on it and tightly positioned relative to one another forming capillary-filamentary structure which considerably increases evaporation surface of refrigerant and heat exchange surface with heat conducting plates due to capillary raising of liquid. Thin film of evaporated liquid refrigerant on considerably increased heat exchange surface provides for high rate of evacuation, enhances heat transfer, thus increasing refrigerating capacity with no change in volume of evaporation chamber and amount of liquid refrigerant. EFFECT: increased refrigerating capacity. 3 dwg
