FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: fiber-optical gyro has series-connected superluminescent radiator 1, first fiber light beam splitter 2, fiber depolarizer 3, type Lyot, second fiber light beam splitter 4, and fiber anisotropic circuit 5. Light beam splitter 4 is made of anisotropic fiber. Depolarizer 3 is selected with relation of lengths of first and second sections equal to 1:n, where n ≥ 2,5. Second section of depolarizer 3 is formed of input end of light beam splitter 4 the output ends of which are connected to ends of fiber circuit 5 so that their optical axes coincide. Anisotropic fiber circuit 5 may be made of anisotropic fiber as well as isotropic fiber. EFFECT: higher measuring results. 4 cl, 1 dwg
