FIELD: electronic engineering. SUBSTANCE: lens has modules of homogeneous dielectrics with different dielectric constants joined together and arranged according to specified mechanism of dielectric constant variation depending on current value of lens radius unambiguously corresponding to mechanism of variations in its refractive index. Modules of internal layers forming central cubic core inscribed in sphere are of cubic shape and are equal in size; external modules are of spherical shape, their external surface being such that mentioned modules, when joined with modules of internal layers, complete central core to sphere. Slots and/or ridges are made on at least two faces of each module over their entire length, each pair of them having similar cross- sectional area, which are used to join modules together to form spherical surface of lens. Various combinations of slots and ridges on module faces are proposed. EFFECT: improved design. 7 cl, 15 dwg
