FIELD: entomology. SUBSTANCE: method involves selecting bumblebees; coupling bumblebees at intensity of illumination of 3,000 Lx and temperature of 20-23 C; forming groups, each containing 20-30 females; exposing them to carbon dioxide for at least 120 min; placing into climatic chamber at temperature of 28-29 C and humidity of 65-75%; placing into climatic chamber or beehive females having several cocoons or young bumblebee yield to form bumblebee nests. EFFECT: increased efficiency in rearing bumblebees and simplified method.
