FIELD: bumblebee rearing. SUBSTANCE: method involves selecting, pairing and narcotizing bumblebee queens, with distilled water at temperature of 15-30 C being used as narcotizer and impregnated bumblebee queens being introduced into distilled water and held there for 20-40 min; interrupting narcotization process for 2-2.5 h and repeating the process. Thus, bumblebee families are reared under laboratory conditions approximating natural development conditions. Method allows egg laying by impregnated bumblebee queens to be stimulated, egg ripening process to be intensified after narcotization, egg laying time to be reduced, productivity and survival of bumblebee queens to be increased. Bumblebee families produced have improved flying and pollination qualities. EFFECT: increased efficiency and improved yield of vegetables grown in greenhouses. 2 cl
