FIELD: railway transport. SUBSTANCE: device is designed for re-placing the train from one gauge track into other gauge track. For this purpose, at station where this operation is to be carried out, narrow gauge track is joined with wide gauge track through adapter track insert being length of track section gradually widening from narrow to wide gauge. With train moving along the section, its wheelsets changes gradually in width between wheel flanges depending on direction of train movement along the track insert section.
