FIELD: heat treatment of sleeve of cylinder of internal combustion engine. SUBSTANCE: plant includes arranged along open ring: apparatus for applying absorbing coat, apparatus for drying, apparatus for cooling, apparatus for heating, apparatus for stripping absorbing coat and motion mechanism mounted in center of ring and being in the form of step rotation drive of handling levers with grippers. Apparatus for applying coat includes strut supporting movably mounted rotation drive with jet for applying coat secured to free end of its shaft. Apparatus for drying is in the form of arched chamber into which hot air is fed by means of fan through heater and branch pipes. Apparatus for cooling is in the form of fan with branch pipes for feeding air to sleeve at cooling and heating. Apparatus for heating has strut with spindles onto which rotation drive unit is movably mounted. Collet chuck for clamping sleeve is mounted on output shaft of heating apparatus. Laser irradiation source provided with mirror system is placed opposite collet chuck. Apparatus for stripping coat is in the form of strut movably supporting rotation drive unit.
