FIELD: mining industry; applicable in dumping of overburden rocks in open-pit mining. SUBSTANCE: method consists in installation of aerosupport between pioneer embankment with railroad track and calm bank. Aerosupport is made in form of captive balloon which is used for catching containers with rocks located on flat cars, lifting containers with rocks above flat car and transfer to calm bank with the help of gravitation, unloading of containers above calm bank and back return of containers with use of gravitational forces. Pendulum motion of containers is executed over trajectory close to horizontal as much as possible. Empty container is installed on flat car with use of hoisting mechanisms and horizontal haulage of aerosupport. Operations are repeated. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 dwg
