FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: device is used in opencast mining operations. Device has clamshell, tethered aerostatic apparatus to which clamshell is suspended by rope, flexible guy links, and winches installed on working site of production level on sides of quarry. Aerostatic apparatus can be moved above surface of working zone by means of combined operation of all winches so that clamshell performs pendulum swinging motions in direction of dumps for unloading. Application of aforesaid embodiment of device allows for reducing cost in development of long-lying deposits. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 dwg
