FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: this is intended for carrying loads between horizons in quarry and can be utilized in opencast mining of minerals. According to method, two horizons are connected by load-bearing flexible piles. Fastened to these piles are two captive air balloons with load receptacles which are connected to each other by flexible pulling link. Loading and unloading of receptacles are performed at upper and lower horizons so that total value of lifting force of lower air balloon and mass of cargo loaded at upper horizon is higher than total value of lifting force of upper air balloon and weight of cargo loaded at lower horizon. Aforesaid arrangement allows for reducing power expenses for transportation. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
