FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: transportation complex is intended for elevating rock mass from deep horizons of quarries and can be used in opencast mining operations. Complex includes two rope lines of similar length. Both lines are fixed at lower horizon by means of supporting unit with pulley block. Each line has carriage with air balloon connected to carriage. Air balloon is used to equalize weight of transportation vessel with load. Transportation vessel is fastened to carriage. Carriages are movably connected by pulling rope passing through pulley block and fastened at lower horizon so that upper extreme position of vessel on one line corresponds to lower extreme position of vessel on other transportation line. Ends of pulling ropes coming from each carriage after passing through deflecting pulleys are connected to drums of two reversible winches installed at different sites of upper horizon. Application of aforesaid arrangement of transportation complex allows for reduction of expenses for hauling rock mass together with improvement of ventilation conditions in quarry.
