FIELD: radio engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has frequency-modulated signal oscillator 1, which input is connected to output of modulator 2 and which output is connected to input of serial circuit of branch 13, preliminary amplifier 14, delay gate 15 and power amplifier 3 which is connected to transmitting antenna 4. Two receiving antennas 5 and 7 are spaced and are connected to switch 8 which is controlled by computer 16 and passes signal from one of receiving antennas 5 or 7 to first input of mixer 6 which mixes it with reference signal which is sent to second input of mixer 6 through branch 13 from output of frequency-modulated signal oscillator 1. Output of mixer 6 is connected to narrow-band filter 9, which is connected to input of long-distance frequency amplifier 10 which control inputs are connected to second outputs of computer 16. Output of long-distance frequency amplifier 10 through quartz filter 11 is connected to input of analog-to-digital converter 12, which outputs are connected to inputs of computer 16 which third outputs are connected to control inputs and signal inputs of modulator 2. In addition position detector 17 and information display and printing unit 18 are connected to computer 16. Two receiving antennas are spaced in order to detect radio signal speed in rock to be sounded.
