FIELD: semiconductor electron-beam-pumped scanning lasers used, for example, in systems for data display on shared screens. SUBSTANCE: electron-beam-pumped laser tube has vacuum envelope accommodating electronic gun and laser target which is, essentially, semiconductor plate with plane-parallel smooth surfaces mounted on cold conductor and bearing on its surfaces reflecting coatings one of which is fully reflecting and other is partially transmitting laser beam of semiconductor; coating on electronic gun side has at least two layers; upper layer facing electronic gun conducts electricity. Mentioned conducting layer is made of $$$ and its thickness is $$$, where $$$ is semiconductor radiation wavelength; laser target has layer of metal, primarily aluminium, deposited on peripheral region of target so that internal boundary of this layer is located on conducting layer of semi-transparent reflecting coating at distance of at least 0.5-0.7 mm from its edge and external boundary is beyond semiconductor plate on conducting part of target cold conductor.
