FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves creating prosthesis field by utilizing not only lingual surfaces but also vestibular mandible body surfaces. Mucosa and mylohyoid muscle of the fundus of the oral cavity are shifted apart and intermediate fold is produced. Trapezoid flaps are created from buccal mucosa. Their base is sewn with the oral cavity fundus mucosa beneath the mandible edge. The wound edges are covered from the glossal side of the mandible body using free edge of the trapezoid flaps. EFFECT: improved functional results.
