FIELD: chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: method involves treatment of dimethylamineborane with liquid product at mass ratio water : dimethylamineborane = (0.03-0.1):1 at 38-45 C. The obtained reaction mass is subjected for vacuum treatment under residual pressure 0.3-1.3 kPa and blown with inert gas followed by filtration. Filtrate is washed with water at mass ratio = 1: (0.15-1), respectively, and the end product is isolated. Content of basic substance is 86.5-90.1% as concentrated an aqueous solution being without change for 4-5 months storage. Content of basic substance and yield are 99.0-99.5% and 92-93% as compared 98.5% and 90.1% by prototype, respectively. The end product is used as selective reducing agent and stabilizing agent.
