FIELD: organic chemistry, particularly, purification of liquid hydrocarbon raw materials against organosulfur compounds, among them hardly removed sulfur-containing heterocyclic compounds. SUBSTANCE: method is carried out by contact liquid hydrocarbon raw materials with working solution which represents aqueous solution of sulfuric acid comprising ions of metals being chosen of manganese, vanadium, chromium, cobalt, cerium or their mixture. Mentioned above working solution is preliminary treated by electrolysis at conditions of oxidation of metal ions to oxidation degree being higher than minimal oxidation degree. Mixture which is prepared by said contact is separated to prepare purified liquid hydrocarbon raw materials and dead solution comprising reduced ions of metal. Then electrolysis is carried out at conditions of oxidation of metal ions to oxidation degree being higher than minimal degree of oxidation. EFFECT: improved efficiency of the method. 20 cl, 1 dwg
