FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: this relates to working strata minerals, primarily coal seams. Sectional power support has sections with cover, hydraulic props, guarding, guide mechanism, hydraulic rams for advance, device for work face guarding. Support sections in stoping face are divided into functional groups which are formed by supporting-correcting sections, with linear sections located between them. Covers of supporting-correcting sections are provided with hitching units and flexible links with hydraulic rams arranged successively over length of stoping face. Hitching units of supporting-correcting sections are located on covers of sections in propless space of support between hydraulic props and work face guarding with possible turning of flexible links and hydraulic rams in planes of supporting surface of covers and lateral plane of sections. In upper functional group adjacent to ventilation drift, upper supporting-correcting section is provided with hitching unit located on base, flexible link in this case can be diagonal. Hitching unit can be in the form of bracket rigidly connected with supporting surface of cover or base of supporting-correction sections in their inner space and provided with cylindrical end with groove for seating double-arm journal. One arm of it by means of hinge with axle located in perpendicular to groove axis is connected with hydraulic ram, second arm has end bore and inserted through it is flexible link in the form of round-link chain, and detent for possibility of changing length of flexible link and its fastening in journal.
