SUBSTANCE: noise silencer has step-widening perforated envelope installed at end of pipeline and provided with blind wall at side opposite to pipeline, and noise absorbing member built into envelope and made in form of rubber insert. Conical cavities spaced over surface of insert resting against blind wall of envelope are filled with air and are pointed with their tops towards pipeline. EFFECT: improved noise damping. 2 dwg
