FIELD: mechanical engineering; gas dynamic (aerodynamic, steam dynamic) exhaust noise mufflers. SUBSTANCE: device is made so that housing with end face walls, intake and exhaust branch pipes is divided into noise damping chambers by means of at least two perforated conical inserts with common smaller base, oriented towards exhaust branch pipe. Intake branch pipe is arranged partially inside housing, being made widening. Device has resilient dampers and rigid ring support arranged inside housing from side of smaller bases being moved axially by means of adjusting screws with locknuts through end face wall. One of dampers is rigidly secured on inner end face wall of housing from side of intake branch pipe, and second damper is fitted on rigid ring support. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities, increased efficiency owing to provision of maximum dissipation of noise energy when frequency of working medium sound vibrations coincides with resonance vibration frequency of vibratory system. 1 dwg
