FIELD: radio engineering; trailing transceiving antennas operating in short- and ultrashort-wave ranges. SUBSTANCE: antenna has four relatively orthogonal sides 1 each made in the form of loop-shaped insulated conductor placed along boundaries of angular sector α. Sides are connected in pairs to first and second power channels. Inserted between each pair of abutting sides are loop-shaped conductors 2 placed along boundaries of angular sector β. Shunt conductors are connected to terminals of first and second power channels. Antenna ensures effective operation within specified range with revolving polarization field or with two independent linear polarizations. Optional circuit arrangement of antenna for operation with linear polarization is given in description of invention. EFFECT: improved speed of setting up trailing antenna affording effective operation in broad frequency band. 6 cl, 8 dwg
