FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves driving animal in corral; fixing animal's head and treating animal's floor of the auricle with antiseptic, such as 3% potassium permanganate solution; placing shackle with ordinal number into marker; punching hole in animal's floor of the auricle by punch and removing cut out ear portion; inserting tubular part of shackle into punched hole by means of marker and expanding tubular part end.
