SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an ear tag for an animal. The ear tag contains pointed part (1) and two outer parts (2, 3), which are designed to be placed on opposite sides of an animal ear. Pointed part (1) contains front element (5), middle elements (6) and rear element (7), which are located one after another in the longitudinal direction of pointed part (1), and another element that is made of material significantly more elastic than material of elements (5, 6, 7) of the pointed part, and that passes in the longitudinal direction of pointed part (1) along specified front, middle and rear elements (5, 6, 7), connecting the specified elements. Front, middle and rear elements (5, 6, 7) are installed in a row on top of each other, and the element made of material significantly more elastic than material of front, middle and rear elements (5, 6, 7) is shell (8) that surrounds front, middle and rear elements (5, 6, 7) installed in a row on the side surface of the row formed by the specified elements. Shell (8) does not stick to middle elements (6).

EFFECT: invention provides an improvement in the design of an ear tag for an animal.
