FIELD: medical engineering; prosthetics. SUBSTANCE: device has drum with contact surface in the form of sphere the center of which is hinge rotation center. Drum is positioned inside split casing. It has screw for adjustment of hinge rotation rigidness and wedge with mating contact surface coupled to step by flexible member and second spherical contact surface. Stop is pushed off casing by puller spring. It thrusts upon releasing member which provides for permanent contact between spherical drum and wedge due to its spring. EFFECT: extended functional capabilities of prosthesis; reliable wedging and easy unwedging. 2 dwg
