FIELD: hydrometallurgy. SUBSTANCE: method relates to methods of vanadium recovery from monoprocess converter vanadium slags. Initial product is used in the form of monoprocess nonroasted converter vanadium slags which are leached with solution of sulfuric acid with pH gradient equalling at least 0.1 pH/min up to obtaining solution pH of 3.0-4.0 with subsequent filtration and final recovery of vanadium from cake with acid. The method simplifies the process of vanadium recovery from converter slags due to use of initial product in the form of monoprocess converter vanadium slags which do not need oxidizing roasting, and preset conditions of leaching process provides for high degree of recovery of vanadium from slag. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 ex
