SUBSTANCE: device for preparing oil-water emulsion has intake chamber made, for instance, in form of swirl chamber. electromagnetic nozzle for injection of water arranged on one of ends of intake chamber, oil passage opening into intake chamber in tangential direction. Device can be provided with pump chamber arranged in axial direction on other end of intake chamber and working wheel installed inside pump chamber. Cavity is made on cylindrical surface of pump chamber. Outlet for emulsion is located close to end face portion of cavity in direction of wheel rotation. End wall is made at end face portion of cavity for interrupting flow of emulsion passing inside cavity in direction of wheel rotation. Swirl chamber can be arranged in intake portion of fuel nozzle of each diesel engine cylinder. oil intake passage is connected with oil outlet passage of diesel engine fuel pump.
