FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: combustion chamber (7) of engine (1) in which there is piston (3) and atomiser (13) with the holes intended to inject the jets of atomised fuel/flame, which bump against external part of cavity at the piston bottom during larger part of the injection process. Between zones of interaction of atomised fuel/flame jets in plane perpendicular to direction of back-and-forth movement of the piston there located are projections of the first type, which protrude into combustion chamber (7) and have smooth shape in order to preserve kinetic energy of flame jets and in order to change the direction of circular movement of flame jets so that they can be mainly directed towards central axis of piston (3) with minimum influence of flame jets. In interaction zones there located are projections of the second type, which are meant for changing the direction of flame jets moving to interaction zone so that they can perform circular movement in the plane which is essentially perpendicular to direction of back-and-forth movement of piston, and with minimum interaction of flame jets with piston wall and with minimum loss of kinetic energy.
EFFECT: reduction of level of soot particles emissions.
