FIELD: nondestructive testing; check of penetration of pipe lines in bottom soil. SUBSTANCE: inter-tube flaw detector consists of tight housing 1, two flexible collars 2, "n" wheels 3, "n" hammers 4, suspension lever 5, wheel 3 with spring 6, induction coils 7 and 8, signal analyzing device 10, path and angular coordinate sensors 11 and multi-channel information recorder 12. Supply of on-board equipment is effected by storage battery 13. Flaw detector is placed in pipe line 14 located in soil 15; provision is made for propagation of acoustic waves 16 in pipe line.
