FIELD: determination of protective efficiency of lubricating materials. SUBSTANCE: process lie in test of two lots of samples with film of tested material. Samples of first lot are subjected to cyclic action of key climatic factors including aging at temperature equal to minimal for considered climatic zone, action of temperature transition through 0 C at relative humidity equal to annual average for considered zone and finally aging under increased humidity (95±3%) and temperature 10-15 C above maximal one for considered climatic zone. After this samples of both lots are exposed to action of corrosive medium and stability factor is determined as relation of arithmetic mean of change of mass of metal samples of first and second lots. EFFECT: improved efficiency of determination of stability factor.
