FIELD: environmental control. SUBSTANCE: process includes selection and analysis of samples of water and/or soil, determination of relative concentration of components and comparison of their content with sanitary-hygienic and ecological standards. Examined space is divided into assemblage of homogeneous areas by collection of indices which value exceeds at least one of used standards. Combination of most noninformative indications is determined for each ecological zone as well as probability of overlapping of analyzed samples by confidence interval of n-measured vector of selected ecological zone adequately presenting closeness of analyzed samples and pollution source.
