FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has stepping operation mechanism which supporting strips are attached to crankshaft with one end only, and the other end is mounted in connecting link rigidly fixed on frame. To reach reliable engagement with step surfaces, strips have spring-loaded checking rods. The device has two pairs of bearing rear wheels fastened at different levels in cantilevers pivotally mounted on frame and linked with tie rods to lifting mechanisms. Driving frontal wheels are attached to the frame so that their rest plane is on the same straight line continuing the rest plane of strips. EFFECT: wide range of functional applications. 6 cl, 6 dwg
