Polyol to carbonate to main catalyst ratio is 1: (21.3-25.8): 0.001 respectively. Process is carried out by distillation of alcohol resulting from synthesis to attain conversion of at least 95% original components and catalyst and unreacted carbonate are subsequently remove, Polyalkylene glycol polycarbonate is used as lubricating oil for refrigerators.
