FIELD: sugar production. SUBSTANCE: sludge trap includes through-shaped casing with connecting pipes to supply non-filtered juice, gauze cylindrical drum set up on the shaft inside casing, shaft drive including electromotor and chain transmission with gear wheels fastened to shaft, filtered juice receiver with juice drain pipe, and fiber bin. Sludge trap is equipped with frame, the surface of which faces gauze cylindrical drum and has needle-shaped flexible cleaning pins with diameter less than that of holes in the drum gauze. Frame is set up on shaft by means of star gears rigidly attached to shaft and by rollers movably joined with star gears and attached to frame. EFFECT: improved design. 3 dwg
