FIELD: power engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention, in particular, relates to parts made of maraging steels exploited under vibration, high- temperature, and aggressive media conditions. Prior to be welded, parts are thermally treated in the following mode: heating to 650-670 C, aging for 3.5-4.5 h, and cooling in air. Then argon-arc welding follows and presence of microcracks in welding joint is detected using X-ray and dye penetrate inspection techniques. No cracks were detected. Once welded, part is subjected to heat treatment in the following mode: heating to 1000 ± 15 C, aging for 50-60 min, and cooling in air. EFFECT: improved resistance of parts to severe conditions.
