FIELD: medicine, bacteriology. SUBSTANCE: invention proposes carrying out the diagnosis among chronic and residual, chronic and primary-chronic, primary-chronic and latent forms of brucellosis. Chronic form is diagnosed at the following indices of enzyme activity (by Keplou units): myeloperoxidase 2.48-2.94; nonspecific esterase 2.54-2.94; alkaline phosphatase 0.6-1.0; cationic protein 2.1-2.42. Residual form: 1.82-2.06; 1.3-1.69; 0.37-0.89; 2.03-2.23, respectively. Primary-chronic form: 2.88-2.98; 1.0-1.8; 0.34-0.5; 2.05-2.25, respectively. Latent form: 2.15-2.25; 1.93-2.63; 0.71-0.81 and 1.6-2.0, respectively. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of diagnosis.
