FIELD: medicine; veterinary science.

SUBSTANCE: selection of animals is performed on cytochemical indicators of peripheric blood and degree of full value of individuals. a condition of fermental systems, namely acidic phosphatase and cationic fibers in polymorphonuclear leucocytes of blood is used as a biochemical indicator. When content of cationic proteins totals 1.63-1.76 Keplou units with acidic phosphatase activity of 2.23-2.38 Keplou units, select white mice sensitive to the plague agent. When content of cationic proteins totals 2.05-2.15 Keplou units with acidic phosphatase activity of 1.95-2.03 Keplou units, select golden hamsters relatively resistant to plague.

EFFECT: use of the method provides high-grade selection of animals for modelling of experimental plague process and the differentiated studying of course of process at animals with different sensitivity to the agent.
