FIELD: medicine, infectious diseases. SUBSTANCE: method involves study of peripheral blood samples in the process of treatment courses being in the treatment process content of cationic proteins, glycogen and succinate dehydrogenase activity are determined in peripheral blood cells by methods of cytochemistry. Antibiotic is considered to be effective if in the treatment process values of cytochemical indices (contents of cationic proteins and glycogen and succinate dehydrogenase activity) correspond to similar cytochemical indices in health persons. EFFECT: enhanced control of antibiotic efficiency in treatment of brucellosis.
