FIELD: computer engineering, in particular, processing of signals each of which represents some characteristic of physical process. SUBSTANCE: device processes signals according stored rules which represent data and describe possibility combination of elements. If all these combinations have identical meaning for some element, then this element is detected as having this meaning in output signal. Rules are stored as binary representations of possible combinations. Elements of input and output signals can represent two possible states: tautology (undefined state) and inconsistency (prohibited state).
