Then method involves setting size of window for viewing input numerical matrix, setting initial position of window on matrix, direction of browsing and step of window movement. Region for search of delta-shaped element of papillary pattern is located in lower left and lower right quadrants of input numerical matrix. Then method involves locating point P on bisector of right angle of two quadrants, setting center of browsing window in point P. Size of window is less than width of search area by factor of K. Existence of delta-shaped element in at least two of three windows involves existence of delta-shaped element in left and right quadrants. This results in classification of fingertip.
