FIELD: redundant systems for counting and processing digital information. SUBSTANCE: counter is designed to check state of all bits of flip-flops 1 by means of majority elements 2. Upon arrival of subsequent data pulse at inputs of redundant counter, one-shot multivibrator 6 shapes pulse which goes to recovery circuit set up of first and second AND gates 3 and 4. In case of failure in any of flip-flops 1 occurring within time up to arrival of next data pulse, true information will come through AND gate and recover state of flip-flop 1 that has failed. EFFECT: improved reliability due to better noise immunity; in case of any failure, redundant counter will automatically assume true state. 1 dwg
