FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of non-destructive testing and diagnostics by optical methods and relates to a device for studying the combustion process of metal nanopowders or their mixtures. The device contains an initiating laser, two digital cameras and a laser brightness amplifier, on the optical axis of which, on one side, a collecting lens and a concave mirror are sequentially located, along the optical axis of which a linear translator is located, on which the object of study is located. A ND filter, the first lens, the first bandpass filter, and the first digital camera are installed on the other side of the laser brightness amplifier. The second lens, the second bandpass filter and an object of study are installed on the optical axis of the second digital camera. The device also contains a backlight laser, on one side of which, on its optical axis, there is a rotatable mirror with the ability to reflect laser radiation onto the object of study through a diaphragm and a beam expander located in series.
EFFECT: increased brightness and contrast of the images of the surface of the nanopowders and possibility of changing the illumination of the research object are provided.
