FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to roentgenoscopic, roentgenographic and roentgenospectral apparatus and is intended for obtaining X-ray image and excitation of secondary radiation, as well as for radiometric separation of mineral raw materials and concentration of minerals. Increased repetition frequency of X-ray pulses to 10 kHz at average power of more than 3 kW in an electron beam in continuous operation, which is enabled to form both a point X-ray focus required for projection studies, and an extended focal spot of the required shape and area to produce uniform X-ray beams of large area.
EFFECT: enabling high-speed radiometric studies of 100 % of the lengthwise areas of both the individual objects in motion and material flows with a time resolution of 100 mcs and more, as well as possibility of uniform homogeneous high-power x-ray launch with width of 800 mm for excitation of secondary radiation of different nature.
