FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves removing functional blocks by applying manual therapy first in inferior cervical articulation, then in the atlantoaxial one and atlantooccipital one under control of Q-T interval readings on electrocardiogram. Manipulations in atlantooccipital articulation are carried out in bending head to 20 deg, extending to 30 deg, making lateral bending when fixing a segment from C3 to C7. Manipulations in atlantoaxial articulation are carried out in performing traction ending in rotating head to 25-27 deg when fixing a segment from C3 to C7. Manipulations in inferior cervical region are carried out with lateral bending and rotation, the manipulations being done under unchanged or lowering Q-T interval readings detected in advance on electrocardiogram. After removing all functional blocks, mobilization is carried out on the background of constant head traction with 1.5-2 kg force during 20-30 s and then, interrupted traction is applied with the same forces during 10-15 s. EFFECT: prevented instability conditions due to retained alar ligaments; controlled action.
