FIELD: railway transport; emergency displacement and braking of dual pane windows in passenger cars. SUBSTANCE: proposed device has cables 11 connecting window framework with detachably installed window frame. Cables 11 are connected to sliders 6 limiting height of lifting of window frame. Sliders are placed in channels of window frame according to first design version or in channels of window framework, according to second design version. Window frame channels are partly overlapped by stops 13 to prevent passing of sliders and provide free passing of cable. Shock absorbing spring is placed between stop 13 and slider 6 in vertical channel of window frame according to first design version, or in horizontal channel of window framework, according to second design version. Cable is passed through diametrically opposite holes of drum 18 and turning shaft with detachable handle 17 installed on window framework. Handle 17 is made integral with ratchet 21 engaging with spring-loaded pawl resting on lock of bracket. EFFECT: provision of safety of window frames. 3 cl, 9 dwg
