FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: mechanism for holding and drop of tested article on to anvil is updated. It includes body with clamp to hang it on hook of hoisting machine, rotary grippers installed in body which are held in working position by vertically moved locating arm and gear moving grippers apart. This gear incorporates bell-cranks, one arm of each interacts with locating arm. Each bell-crank turns under action of weight coupled to second arm by means of flexible tie-rod which initial slack is completely taken up with lift of article to specified height. Mechanism is fitted with rockers, one arm of each being hinged to gripper, and tie-rods, one end of each being hinged to second arm of rocker. Axle of bell-crank that can move in vertical groove of body is located in groove on second end of tie-rod. Body is equipped with rests limiting angle of turn of bell-cranks. Rests interact with first arms of bell-cranks after they turn through angle sufficient for release of grippers. EFFECT: exclusion of any manual labour for anchoring of article in grippers. 7 dwg
