FIELD: sea seismic reconnaissance. SUBSTANCE: system of seismic sources is designed as pneumatic seismic sources and means which keeps buoyancy of seismic sources, including set of sealed chambers which are connected in series. Each pair of adjacent chambers is connected through separate single-way stopping valve. End chamber is constantly filled with air under pressure. Single- way stopping valve passes air to other chambers only in one direction. Group of seismic sources of set of distributed pneumatic sources is hanged on mean which keeps buoyancy of seismic sources by means of several hinges. Head section of group of seismic sources is connected to point which is located in head section of buoyancy keeping mean. For sea seismic reconnaissance said system of seismic sources which are fixed in tow point of head section of buoyancy keeping mean is towed using voyage method which provides movement of all equipment in horizontal position along straight line and simultaneously keeps group of seismic sources under water on constant dive depth.
