SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to otorhinolaryngology. What is presented is a method for estimating congenital immunity in the patients with recurrent exudative osteitis and obstruction of the auditory tube. In exudate of tympanic cavity by means of polymerase chain reaction in real time level of expression of the gene of pro-inflammatory cytokine IL1β is determined and level of expression of antimicrobial peptide HBD1, HBD2 genes. If observing the following conditions simultaneously: IL1β expression level - from 50 rel. units and higher, expression level of HBD1 - from 2 rel. units and higher, level of expression of HBD2 - from 10 rel. units and higher - congenital immunity is diagnosed.

EFFECT: invention provides developing a diagnostic technique for detecting a defect of innate immunity in patients with recurrent exudative osteitis in order to select patients for immunocorrective therapy and assessing the prospects of further treatment.
